scammers finally get shut down

years ago when my son was quite young i was looking for ways to earn money from home ... i saw this ad ... make at home angel awareness pins ... after sewing all my life i thought this would be a breeze ... so i paid them the 40$ for the kit ... the kit sends you materials and instructions and you make your sample and mail to them for approval before they will actually hire you  ... well i have that perfection glitch going  and i sent in 3 samples to them and all three were rejected ...

well praise the lord ... they finally met the wrong woman ... on good morning america this morning they had a segment on it ... even said this company took in 835,000 in one year and the way the economy is right now apparently they have been raking it it ... now the government has shut them down ... geez could someone possibly be going to jail ... do they deserve that ... YES ... YES ... YES ... i love the smell of kharma in the morning

ok ... heres what i think ... you can make a beautiful meal ... but if you have a beautiful loaf of home made bread on the table ... it makes that meal even more special

about public domain art

i discovered this year googling around that there is a tremendous amount of public domain art on file in our public libraries ... i found a wonderful source in the new york public library ... i was looking for ideas this weekend and decided i would like to do small bouquets the type that would look good on pillow cases ... i would think all the major cities have similar files i.e. chicago, la, atlanta, etc. ... trust me its worth checking out ... for those of you digitizing it will keep you very busy ... when you get to their site just search public domain art

i never thought i would be writing a blog ... it must be that i dont see the light at the end of the tunnel ... you know the tunnel exit taking you from "is winter ever going to end" to "ahhh ... its finally spring and life is good"
